Non-Profits

Regardless of size, non-profits generally have many similarities. While they aren't necessarily out to make a profit, they certainly aren't interested in going under. Neither are they fond of wasting the resources they do have. They must do a good job of keeping in touch with their various audience segments while carrying out their core mission.

In the non-profit sector, a solid Website should be a central clearing house for information and the launching point for activities and initiatives. Concisely stating the message, the goal, the motivation and the call to action is fundamental to a non-profit's on-line strategy.

Going beyond the bare minimum, many non-profits have realized their site can actually be a key operational tool, which can be used to collect donations, organize volunteers and facilitate events and campaigns.

We've listed a few sites below that use the Encompass platform to keep their information current and accessible. Several of them are donation-enabled and use broadcast email to drive traffic (and thereby funds) through the site.
